Anna Johnston from the TLC series 7 Little Johnstons introduced a new boyfriend on social media—and fans are saying the same thing in the comments.

In early December, the eldest daughter of Amber and Trent Johnston posted a TikTok video that made her new relationship official.

“One day you will have a crush on the guy that tried to save your hair from catching on fire,” Anna wrote in overlain text on a photo of herself and a man named Jeffrey Meservey, also tagging him. “@Jeffrey Meservey forever crush 🫶🏼,” she added in the caption.

Meanwhile, Meservey shared a similar TikTok video, writing, “One day you will have a crush on the girl that you tried to save her hair from catching on fire.” He also tagged her, adding a blue heart emoji.

In the comments of Anna’s update, 7 Little Johnstons fans reacted to her hard-launching her new boyfriend. Some were supportive, like one follower who declared, “Yaaaaas, the one Johnston who deserves the world 💓💓.”

Another wrote, “I think we need a story time about your hair almost catching on fire!!!”

Someone else pointed out, “Anna, you are positively glowing!! Look at your spark babe.”

However, others pointed out the apparent age difference between Anna and Merservey. “He could be your dad 😭,” one commented, as a second echoed, “No… no…… nooooooo.”

A different TikTok user warned, “As a Mum…be mindful of big age gaps. The power imbalance is there, even if they’re the nicest man ever. So long as you never lose touch with your friends & they’re with you on this journey because they (in any relationship) see things you maybe don’t.”

Yet another follower shared, “When I was outcasted from my family when I was 16, I ended up dating a much older man because of dadd issues. I finally grew out of it tho. This may not be what’s happening with her, but it is a common thing.”

Meanwhile, someone else wrote, “Nooo I just went to his page and girllll you can do better! You deserve better and someone who is respectful and serious about you. Saying this w/all the best intentions for you @annamjohnstonnn ❤️🥰.”

On Nov. 28, Meservey posted a short TikTok clip of himself sitting at a restaurant before panning to Anna. “I have 99 problems,” a woman’s voice said in the accompanying sound. “But when I’m with you, it’s 100.”

And back in July, he shared a similar clip with a voiceover of a woman saying, “The thing next to you is a pain in the –s.”

Anna previously dated a man named Darius, who has been mentioned multiple times on the show.
