  • Falen Vaughn, mother of ‘Unexpected’ star Bella Vaughn, was arrested in Arkansas on charges of obstructing governmental operations and disorderly conduct following an alleged altercation with police outside her daughter’s boyfriend’s house.

Unexpected star Bella Vaughn’s mother, Falen Vaughn, was arrested on Monday, April 20, in Arkansas, Us Weekly can confirm.

Falen is facing charges of obstructing governmental operations and disorderly conduct, according to a police report obtained by Us on Tuesday, April 21. Both charges are misdemeanors.

Falen was booked on Monday at the Crawford County Jail following an alleged altercation with police earlier that day outside of her daughter Bella’s boyfriend, Hunter Johnson’s dad’s house. (Bella, 16, and Hunter, 14, share a 13-month-old son, Wesley, who fans were introduced to during season 7 of TLC’s Unexpected.)

According to a police affidavit, seen by Us, officers were dispatched on Monday after receiving a call of alleged disorderly conduct. Once on scene, one officer said he was “attempting to gain” Falen’s information about the incident when her husband, Kris Vaughn, arrived and allegedly began approaching the second officer in an “agitated state.”

The first officer claimed in the report that he gave Falen a “lawful command to stay back,” but she disregarded the order and moved toward her husband and the second officer.

When Falen allegedly didn’t listen to the officer a second time, he “gained control” of her and placed her under arrest due to a “safety concern” for his fellow officer, per the report.

While authorities have not released any additional information on the incident, The Ashley’s Reality Roundup reported on Tuesday that Falen’s arrest came after Hunter’s mom, Stacie Riddle, and his stepmom, Brettney Johnson, caused an alleged scene on Monday.

According to the outlet and video footage shared via social media, Stacie and Brettney allegedly got into an argument earlier on Monday after Stacie allegedly refused to let Hunter ride with a family friend from baseball practice to his dad Casey Johnson’s house when both Casey and Brettney had a work conflict.

The outlet reported that Stacie allegedly picked up Hunter when it was Casey’s parenting time, which caused drama. Falen can be seen in the social media video telling Hunter, “It’s OK baby, calm down,” after seemingly arriving at Casey’s house after the two adult women got into their own argument.

‘Unexpected’ Star Hunter Ordered by Court to Not Sleep Over at Girlfriend Bella’s House

Falen’s arrest is the latest legal drama plaguing her family. Hunter’s dad, Casey, is preparing to face his ex-wife, Stacie, and Falen in court over custody of Hunter, who is still a teenager, and his and Bella’s son, Wes, according to The Ashley.

Us confirmed that Casey sued Falen over paternity of their joint grandchild in April. Casey, the grandfather to Wes, claimed in court documents that Falen’s daughter, Bella, doesn’t live in a stable home and that she “lacks structure or appropriate supervision.”
