1000 Lb Sisters: Amy’s Facial Soreness Is Due To Brian?

A Reddit user started a thread to find out why Amy Slaton developed facial skin sores during an episode of the last season. The OP stumbled upon the sight in episode five, so couldn’t stop from asking if it’s caused by drug use. A comment underneath speculated that Brian gave them the vibe of a meth addict.

Hence, the person won’t be shocked to know that Amy used meth to end up picking her skin at some points. Also, she and Brian could have been taking squalor, so the lack of hygiene could become the ultimate reason. Another Redditor pointed out her dirty fingernails when she sipped from a soda cup.

A different person perceived Amy as having clear skin, even as she lived with her ex, Michael, in squalor. However, the TLC star got some supporters, too, who suggested that this could be adult hormonal acne, which doesn’t go away despite good hygiene. One more speculation dropped that she might have Methamphetamine.

Based on a picture, it’s hard to conclude unless Amy herself speaks about her soreness. It’s true that adult acne typically appears in the 30s and doesn’t disappear until proper treatment is given. Her skin might be breaking out badly, so she has no choice but to appear in front of the cameras with them.
