On Tuesday, Feb. 3, Wolfe, 61, took to Instagram to announce the sad news alongside a photo of Rita.

âLast night, we lost the strongest most beautiful woman I will ever know,â the bereaved son began his update. âMy mom had been fighting cancer the past four months. My brother and sister and I were by her side when she took her last breath.â
Wolfe continued, âThe pain and sorrow comes in waves and sometimes it all still doesnât feel real. Everything I have become in my life I owe to her. God, I will miss her but I know sheâs in a better place. I love you to the moon and back, Mama. I will look for those little moments when you still find ways guide us. đ.â

The past year has been a tough one for Wolfe. Less than a year ago, he suffered another family loss with the death of his grandfather in May 2025. Then, in September, Wolfe and his girlfriend, Leticia Cline, were involved in a serious car accident that landed them both in the hospital with injuries.
