He revealed he had decided on ex-wife Amy Roloff to take over when he passes

“We’ve all but decided that, when I die, we’re giving whatever piece of the farm I still have to Amy,” Matt, 62, said in a clip shared by the official TLC account.

The camera cut to Amy, 61, after Matt’s declaration, who smiled slightly while shaking her head a bit.

“I don’t even know how to comment on that,” she replied.

The rest of the room fell silent for a moment.

“What? Like, it’s crazy,” Amy said in a confessional.

“So that’s been kicked around. Otherwise, it’s too complicated,” Matt, explained.

“Let’s talk about the fact that I’m the one that had the idea that you leave everything you own aside from Arizona because that’s ours together, to Amy,” Matt’s girlfriend Caryn Chandler said in another confessional.

“You did, that was your idea,” Matt agreed.

“I don’t want it, and I don’t want to take anything away from the people that built the farm. Whether we get married or not, the farm is off the table,” Caryn, 56, added.

The clip ended with a reminder to check out the episode.

Fan opinions were staunchly divided on the situation as some took Matt’s side and others took Amy’s.

“He’s putting her in the position to then deal with the kids,” one wrote.

“She helped build that farm, she deserves it for sure…” another commented.

“No way Amy is so ungrateful and does not deserve it,” a third fan wrote.

“Hey Amy was caught off guard and she probably wants it in writing to believe it. Matt has made promises before…I understand Amy’s reaction,” a fourth chimed in.

‘VERY SAD’

Meanwhile, Amy has slammed her ex-husband Matt for renting out the family farm home.

Matt listed the famous Little People family home for sale in early 2022 and then took the property off the market to rent it out to fans and vacationers.

Amy sold her family farm property to Matt following their divorce and apparently she’s not happy about her ex’s latest business decisions.

Us Weekly obtained an exclusive teaser clip of the upcoming LPBW season.

In the teaser clip, Amy ranted: “I never pictured that the house that I raised my kids in for the last 30 years [would] be a short-term rental.

“There should be a family in it.”

However, Amy respects that Matt is the sole owner of the property for now.

She told Us Weekly: “Matt owns it all. It’s not like I wish him ill will. It makes sense, you know, for Matt to do it.

“I mean, from a business perspective, or anything, it definitely makes sense.”

The Little People star didn’t hold back her disappointment.

Amy told the outlet that from her “personal perspective” the rental is “very sad.”

In the exclusive clip obtained by the outlet, Amy told her husband Chris Marek: “I don’t ask him about those things,” and joked, “You can do that, not me.”

Amy sold the farm to Matt in 2020 for $975,000, reportedly with the intention for one of their children to offer to buy the property one day.

Two years later, Matt shocked his friends and family when he listed 16 out of the 32.28 acres of property for sale for $4million.

STAY WITH MATT!

In October 2022, The U.S. Sun previously reported Matt decided to pull the home from the market and list it as a rental instead.

After the farm was on the market for 160 days, an insider at Roloff Farm told The U.S. Sun Matt revealed his big decision during a Q&A session at the farm.

When curious fans began asking about the fate of the famous family home and land property for sale, Matt shared he had made the decision to list the home as an Airbnb rental.

At the time, Matt revealed the home was 26 weeks behind schedule from opening up to guests due to severe delays at the permit office.
