“Little Couple” star Jen Arnold shared some great news on Tuesday, which happens to be World Cancer Day: Her cancer is in remission.

“I had my official last chemo treatment,” the 39-year-old doctor told People in an exclusive interview. “And while I’m hesitant to say I’m cancer-free — maybe that’s common for people who have cancer — I’m doing great. Everything is moving in the right direction.”

The neonatologist had shared her original diagnosis with the magazine in December, and revealed at the time that she had a “a rare type of cancer” that turned out to be stage 3 choriocarcinoma. The National Institutes of Health describes choriocarcinoma as a fast-growing “but often very curable cancer” that grows in the uterus, and starts in tissue that normally becomes the placenta. Arnold had suffered a pregnancy loss in September.

Arnold celebrated the news of her improving health with her fans on Twitter.
