She continued, “Yes it’s a pain to schedule the appointment when you are busy. And yes there is a small amount of discomfort. But 2 pre-cancerous spots stopped in their tracks.”

“Worth it,” she concluded her post, which included the hashtags, #skincancerprevention #maketheappointment #theworldneedsyou #yourfamilyneedsyou.

In 2021, Brown revealed she was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma. In an Instagram post at the time, the reality TV star revealed that viewers had noticed a blemish above her lip in scenes from Sister Wives.

She then got checked by doctors, which resulted in her being diagnosed with a non-malignant form of skin cancer.

Brown said she “started to see what looked like a scar develop in an area on my lip where all of my cold sores for the past two decades have erupted.”

She first thought it “was a new cold sore forming, but then it never developed and just stayed.”

Brown added that as it grew slowly in size she started to treat it with scar medication. However, after she got a doctor’s appointment following delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she learned of the diagnosis.

“I am happy to report that it was removed and all is well,” she assured.
