Shyann explained why she decided to hook up with Pumpkin’s ex-husband and baby daddy. “The reason it happened was because me and Jessie were strictly wanting to grow our family and have a child from, you know, just me and her,” Shyann says. “It’s not that, ‘Oh, we had a romantic relationship.’ No, it’s nothing like that at all.” Jessica said, “This is something that should have never been brought to camera,” Pumpkin then said, “It should have never been brought to camera, but yet everybody wants to hide it. Everybody wants to act like everything is perfect, right? And I’m sick of it!”

Jessica & Shyann announced they were officially divorced after the finale aired.
The couple had been together for a few years before getting married in the latest season of Mama June. They also raised a child together, Harper, and publicly spoke about wanting a child of their own. Shyann’s statement read, “It was a mutual decision,” Jessica says the split was a mutual decision and that the two remain friends despite no longer being in a relationship.
