Tonight’s episode is titled “A Side Dish of Chaos” and follows up from last week when we saw the 14th person, the professor himself Christian Hubicki from Season 37 (David vs. Goliath) voted off the island.

The “Survivor 50” cast features returning players from the show’s first 49 seasons and celebrities will be making appearances “in unique ways” throughout the season, according to CBS.

Last week, Christian tried damage control following the stunt from the previous tribal council when Rick Devens from Season 38 (Edge of Extinction) played his false idol.

Emily and Devens lost their Day 1 in Christian

Emily Flippen from Season 45 said she was on the wrong side for the first time.

Emily apologized to Ozzy Lusth from Seasons 13 (Cook Islands), 16 (Micronesia – Fans vs. Favorites), 23 (South Pacific), 34 (Game Changers), tells him that Christian and Rick Devens from Season 38 (Edge of Extinction) were her day ones and that is why she chose them.

Feels like there are fewer than 10 left

Aubry Bracco from Seasons 32 (Kaôh Rōng – Brains vs. Brawn vs. Beauty), 34 (Game Changers), 38 (Edge of Extinction) said there are fewer moves left since there are fewer people left.

Rick is trying to ingratiate himself back into the tribe.

Truth about the Fake Idol

Rick tells the remaining tribe that his idol was fake and explained what he did.

“What a wasted vote that would be with ten people left,” Devens said.

Joseph Hunter from Season 48 hears about this “great deception” and thinks “that is insane.”

“I think Rick Devens is Public Enemy Number 1,” Joe said.

Survivor 50 Auction

Rizo Velovic from Season 49 is excited about the auction.

Sharing money is allowed, sharable food is allowed, no votes are at risk.

Every auction item is comfort, chaos or both.

First item is French fries and onion rings – Devens wins it.

“Last night was rough, this makes things a little better,” Rick said.

Stephenie Lagrossa Kendrick from Seasons 10 (Palau), 11 (Guatemala), 20 (Heroes vs. Villains) said “you better eat a lot of that.”

Next item is a milkshake and Emily won it.

“Its so chocolatey,” She said.

Next item was a veggie and cracker spread and Jonathan Young from Season 42 won it.

Aubry won a shareable item, she chose to share the mystery item with Rizo…… it was a comfort and a chaos item…. the comfort was chocolate chip cookies and milk and the chaos was two grubs.

Aubry eats two RAW grubs like they’re nothing…

She said “I’m psycho” before she knew what it was and danced around while chewing.

Cirie Fields from Seasons 12 (Panama – Exile Island), 16 (Micronesia – Fans vs. Favorites), 20 (Heroes vs. Villains), 34 (Game Changers) won a blanket, toothpaste and mouth wash…. and Steph won a grilled cheese.

Jonathan chose Ozzy for his “fall on the sword” item.

Ozzy gets fried chicken and mash potatoes… Jonathan got a (cooked) sea slug.

Jonathan tried to house the sea slug like Aubry did the grubs … almost vomits… but keeps it down… never mind he vomited.

Cirie bought a chacuterie board.

The biggest item of the auction is designed to share among all 10… everyone chips in… everyone gets letters from their loved ones.

Aubry said this game is different because of her toddler at home.

Joe said “what is in those letters is who I am. Kids is who I am. I can tear the roof off any building after reading that letter.”

Jonathan knows MrBeast’s twists “are very, very strong.”

“Part of the reason he is so famous is he goes to the extreme,” Jonathan said.

The tribe is worried the twist will be as bad as the love letters are good.

15th person voted off the island will be the fifth juror.

Steph and Rizo were the first two out.

Then Cirie and Aubry.

Devens is out, down to five. Then Emily, down to four.

Tiff and Jonathan look like statues. I jinxed Jonathan, he is out.

Joe is out- showdown is Tiff vs Ozzy.

Ozzy has eight career individual immunity wins – one away from tying the record. He wont break the record today.

Tiff wins immunity.

Tiffany Ervin from Season 46 started crying after she won because she went home on day 19 last time she played.

“When I woke up and saw today was day 19 I said oh my God I just need to get through today,” Tiff said.

Now she is guaranteed to be in the final nine.

Letters and tears on Survivor 50

After 19 days the contestants read their letters from their loved ones and get reminded why they are playing.

“Sometimes all you need is to hear Mom say I love you,” Ozzy said.

Cirie never got a letter from her father before. She described him as an old southern man’s man.

“The fact he wrote this letter, that makes me want to make him proud. He knows I am going to get it done so I want to get it done for him,” Cirie said.

Devens is sobbing as he reads his letter from his wife outload.

“Try to wipe the smile off my face you smug sons of b*****s,” Rick said tearfully laughing.

Aubry admits it is harder this time because she is softer being a Mom.

“You think anyone is on season 50 to repeat a mistake they made in the past, you are wrong,” Aubry said.

Whats the move?

Aubry, Steph and Jonathan are plotting.

“We need to take out a massive threat in this game,” Jonathan said.

Jonathan said Devens could be a smokescreen and mentions Ozzy. Praises Ozzy for being great at games and changing up his game, being more cerebral.

Jonathan exaggerates Ozzy dropping Steph’s name to get her on board.

Jonathan, Aubry and Steph bring Rick on board.

“Now that MrBeast is on the island, there is chaos to be had,” Rick said.

Rick tells Emily. Emily smiles at the irony.

“Easy out we get Devens but Ozzy is a bigger threat, a better player,” Jonathan said.

Joe wants Rick out but agrees with the reasoning behind Ozzy.

“I am so sick of people coming after Ozzy,” Cirie said. “Tonight is about keeping my numbers strong and not shifting the power to Stephenie and Jonathan.”

Ozzy has an immunity idol and he is ready to play it.

Cirie, Tiff , and Rizo are targeting Steph.

“How did this go from Ozzy to me? Now I am very nervous,” Steph said. “Anytime something seems simple in this game… it is not.”

Steph has a steal-a-vote and might steal Ozzy’s vote… but what about MrBeast!?!?

With 10 people left it is chaos.

MrBeast looms over tribal, four names are being floated among 10 people.

“I am ready to blow up this whole tribe,” Rick said.

Rick starts snitchin at tribal

He is singing like a stool pigeon and airing out the politics.

Steph starts spillin the beans and Jonathan’s plans are blowing up.

“I would never lead the charge I am not that stupid,” Steph said. “I would never go against Ozzy.”

Cirie said “if you don’t laugh, you’re gon’ cry.”

Rizo said it is “utter lies” to pretend you aren’t going to say names.

“I appreciate Rick saying he wants me out, it is a compliment,” Rizo said.

The known unknown is way scarier than knowing what the outcome will be.

“Don’t come out here to play scared,” Rick said.

“I think in a couple moments it will get pretty live,” Rizo said…. but that moment is now.

The jury looks jealous not being part of the chaos … and obviously the $2M.

Steph uses her steal-a-vote and steals Devens vote.

The 15th person off Survivor 50 is Steph.

RECAP of the last episode

Host finally plays Survivor.

Host Jeff Probst made a historic side bet and got involved in the game himself. Offering enough rice for everyone as a side prize.

Everyone had to hold onto their PRE-GAME body weight, last one standing gets immunity.

If the host outlasted one person, he kept the rice.

Jonathan, Joe, Ozzy and Tiff volunteered, Probst wanted to play so he accepts four.

Probst assured the side bet was not a setup.

Probst said this was Jimmy Fallon’s idea. 90% of Jimmy’s audience wanted the host to participate as a player.

“Devens you’re not going to win this why don’t you just drop it,” Probst said.

The host said the name of the episode when all the tribe was trash talking him like he always does.

“Who made this challenge. This is barbaric,” Probst said. “I will never talk the same kind of trash again… until next season.”

Jeff said he would make fun of people for only lasting 7.5 minutes like he did.

“I am going to play Ms Nicegirl and I am going to babyface them to death and then I am going to slit all their throats,” Steph said.
